"CHUBBY 2" shaving brush Premium Synthetic

A premium synthetic hair version of Simpsons' best-known shaving brush, the Chubby 2, this very compact shaving brush has a very dense tuft of hairs.

Its classic faux ivory handle has extremely soft bristles, the density of which ensures excellent massaging of the face during lather application.

You will be hard pressed to find a better shaving tool.

Tip for use and care :

When shaving, try to use back and forth strokes with the brush to create lather rather than circular "slap" strokes that tend to exert extra pressure and strain the bristles. Excessive force can break or dislodge the bristles from their adhesive bond. Never immerse the brush in water at a temperature higher than the skin can tolerate.

Make sure the knot of the brush is completely rinsed of ALL soap or cream residue after shaving-use clean, lukewarm water and gently squeeze the base of the knot to determine if all residue has been removed (this will prevent mildew).
Gently shake the brush and lightly rub the bristles against a very soft towel to remove excess moisture in the knot.
Leave standing or hang (either is fine) in a well-ventilated area, preferably near an open window. Insufficient drying time between shaves will lead to deep mold in the knot and possible hair loss.
If possible, try alternating two brushes to allow a drying period of 48 hours.
Shampoo the brush with a regular hair product every month or so to keep it nice and clean.
