Products and usage
Simply dampen your shaving brush slightly, then swirl it directly over the soap for a few seconds. Next, work up a lather in a bowl or directly on your face until you achieve a creamy, protective texture.

Shaving soap provides a denser, more protective lather, ideal for a close and comfortable shave. Shaving cream lathers up faster but often doesn't last as long as handmade soap.
The choice depends on your experience and preferences. Natural bristles (badger, boar) are softer and offer excellent water retention, while synthetic fibres are ideal for beginners, are easier to maintain and last longer.

Yes, all our safety razors use standard double-edged (DE) blades. This means you can choose from a wide variety of blades to suit your skin type and shaving style.
A shaving soap generally lasts between 3 and 6 months, depending on how often it is used. Thanks to their rich formulation, our soaps offer excellent longevity.
Ingredients and production
Yes, all our soaps are handmade using the cold saponification process. They are enriched with nourishing vegetable oils and butters to protect the skin.
Our tallow soaps offer a particularly creamy and protective lather, while our vegan soaps, formulated solely with plant-based ingredients, provide almost equivalent performance and are ideal for those who wish to avoid animal-derived products.
It depends on where you are. Order processing takes 0 to 1 working days. Deliveries in Canada can take 8 to 15 working days for orders up to $85 (sent by the post office) and 1 to 3 days for orders over $85 (express delivery). Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
We mainly use high-quality fragrance compositions supplied by one of the largest French perfume houses in Grasse. These are not essential oils but a "juice" that is the result of extracting odorous molecules through distillation.
Shaving tips
Use a well-moistened shaving brush and gradually work up a lather by adding water in small amounts. A good lather should be shiny, dense and supple.
The shaving brush prepares the skin and beard before shaving. By working the lather directly onto the face, it softens the hairs, making them easier to cut and reducing irritation. By distributing the lather evenly, it coats each hair and forms a protective barrier that reduces the risk of cuts and redness.
Safety razors offer a closer shave and are more economical and environmentally friendly. Unlike modern cartridge razors, they use thin, replaceable blades that are much less expensive and often gentler on the skin.
The secret : take your time. Wash the area to be shaved with bath soap and warm water, then shave in three strokes. First in the direction of the hair growth, then perpendicular to it, and finally against the grain. Finally, apply an aftershave product.
