BARBER VEGAN SHAVING SOAP

Opening with bursts of bergamot, grapefruit and orange embellished with light green notes, BARBER captivates from the very first inhale. At the heart, a subtle blend of jasmine, rose and violet adds a delicate floral touch, counterbalancing the strength of the cedar notes, which resonate with a woody depth.

The base notes enrich this composition with patchouli, tree moss and sandalwood, creating a deep, seductive base. Musk and amber add a sensual dimension, while leather gives the fragrance a distinctive, assertive character.

For best results, we recommend two application methods : 

1 - In the shaving soap jar :

Soak your shaving brush in hot water, drain it slightly and then apply light pressure in circular movements in the pot for 30 to 60 seconds, depending on the stiffness of the bristles in your shaving brush.

Once a paste of soap has formed around the bristles of the shaving brush, work it into a lather over your face, using circles or back-and-forth strokes (like painting) over the area to be shaved until you obtain a nice shaving foam. You can add a few drops of water to the bristles of the brush at any time to get the consistency that's right for you.

The right dose of water is all about achieving the ideal balance between good protection and good glide. A thick shaving foam with less water will provide more protection, while a thin shaving foam with more water will help the razor blade glide more smoothly.

Rinse the shaved areas with water, preferably cold water, to ensure that any stray hairs and remaining foam are removed.

When you've finished shaving, rinse your shaving brush well to remove all the foam and wring it out as best you can. Rinse off any excess lather from the surface of the soap and leave it to dry. After a few hours, you can close the lid and store the soap in a cool, dry place away from light.

2 - In a shaving bowl :

Using your finger, scoop out an almond-sized amount of shaving soap and press it into the bottom of a shaving bowl. Gorge your shaving brush with warm water, drain it slightly and work your lather into the bowl in circles until you have a shaving foam. You can add a few drops of water to the bristles of the brush at any time to obtain the consistency that suits you.
